This technical sculpture is suspended eighteen feet above the center of the JetBlue flagship Terminal 5 at JFK International Airport, where a dramatic stainless steel cable system and ring flashes messages, video and graphics visible from all three concourses.

Innovative rigging and screen control

Comprised of 43 40” LCD monitors, the ring is a never ending loop of videos and graphics. The video ring is capable of running one large continuous show that fills the entire loop or many individual smaller shows on any combination of screens.
We designed the rigging system, aluminum enclosure and custom digital video system, and produced the mock-ups and 3D modeling of the ring and terminal based on David Rockwell’s concept.
